Top Restaurants: September 16th - September 22nd

Two classy east side establishments come out on top this week, celeb friendly French Bistro La Goulue and the only-classy-folks-allowed, The Four Seasons Restaurant. I enjoy seeing these two eateries on top because they are legitimate, honest restaurants. Not some sort of half club half restaurant like some of their competitors. Enjoy!

The Highline Ballroom takes top honors this week. The below listed were rockin' out to a Santana/Nickelback show, sounds like an AWESOME time. I get why Pat O'Brien and Martina McBride were there(and if you don't get it you should have been there too) but Samuel L. Jackson, that is quite a let down. Favorite sighting of the week Ja Rule getting dissed at Tenjune and Andy Roddick not. The US Open is almighty. Enjoy.

Just as things were getting close Butter caught a whiff of the competition and pulled further ahead of La Goulue and Waverly Inn. They really have a knack for drawing celebrities, I wonder how many of those people actually eat there? Least favorite sighting of the week, obnoxious ad exec/tv personality Donny Deutsch at the equally obnoxius, Waverly Inn. Enjoy.

What a week, Brad "life is absurd" Pitt has been running crazy all around New York. Absorbing the absurdity of baseball at Yankee Stadium and analyzing the absurdity of himself analyzing Austrian art at the Neue Galerie. Enjoy.

Quite a bit of activity this week. The Rose Bar (Gramery Park Hotel bar) is jammin' which make sense as the GpH is the place to stay in NYC. Biggest surprise sighting, the owners of Angels and Kings (heroically awful bar) hanging out at Angels and Kings. Kanye West hanging out at Room Service, wonder if he was complaining about the service? Enjoy.

Sushi, Tennis and Fashion was the theme of the week. Throwback Jimmy Connors at Nobu, shouting and jumping on tables, just kidding. Tennis is boring without players like Connors, hopefully Roddick can learn a thing or two. Koi getting a hobbled share of the star-traffic from this years poorly attended Fashion Week. Yeah!

Wow what a boring week for sightings outside of NYC restaurants, bars and clubs. There were a ton of sighting at the US Open but that does not really count. Its not like those people would hang out in Queens if it was not the US Open, so it is only misleading and that's why it is not included in the list. In other news, I think it is safe to say that the Gramercy Park Hotel is by far the most popular hotel amongst celebs visiting NYC and rightly so the design rocks and its one of the more discreet hotels in the city. Enjoy.
